This script allows you to manage your parameters using external tools such as spreadsheet software or text editors. The values that you enter are "base parameters": features are applied on top of these values.

You can set up parameter tables for the following objects

  • Actors
  • Classes
  • Enemies
The parameters are stored in csv files, one for each actor, class, or enemy.
You can specify the parameters for each level.

Currently, there is only support for built-in basic parameters (ie: not EX params or SP params)

You can specify parameters for any level, but you will need to use another script to increase the max level beyond 99.

Heh, interesting.  This can be used to technically "Battle Test" in a spreadsheet program, and then add in the data into the game afterwards!

Well, I always generate my stats using a formula, either vanilla formulae from the editor or a custom one made on the fly. But this comes in handy too, since it draws data from Excel, from where you can generate your parameters in whatever way you choose, while being able to tweak it too.

It's a really good idea, thanks!

Awesome, will be using this as I want to have absolute control over balancing my game.

Fixed a bug where your values could not go beyond 32768.

This is because RM's Table object uses 2-byte signed integers.

I've changed it so that you can store ridiculous largely values such as 1000000000000000000000.

In fact, RM can't even display it correctly if you don't have enough space for it.

You may need to use ???? if someone's parameters are too high to be displayed.

As usual you will need to use a different script to actually exceed the default limitations.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
