Partition Damage v1.10

Features:


Basically it allows you to have a percentage of your damage


dealt as bonus damage having a different element.


Example: I have a weapon that has a 10% partition damage property


of fire element. If I attack an enemy and deal 100 damage


then I will deal another 10 damage with the fire element


Note: Partition damage does not affect slip damages

Very nice, this is useful for giving weapons/skills more then one element.

That is if you want to have separated bonus damages... If you only want an attack to have multiple elements, the Elements EX script will do fine...

Seems nice, but a quick question. I assume immunity is still taken into consideration.

So in the above example, if I deal 100 points in damage, and the enemy can be healed by fire, what it then heal them 10 points?

yes... it works with the modifiers that Elements EX provide...

OK, not trying to rez the dead, and I don't know if the creator still looks here anymore, but....I have a small problem.

I really want this script to work (it's very close to something I was looking for before), but I've been getting a crash at the 'can partition negative damage' line in the script.

I'm not at the comp it's on right now, but I can give the exact line (180-something I think) and error info if you need.

Thanks ahead of time.... :)

I'll take a look... did this happen after you edited the line? and I can't really do much though unless I get the exact error that ur having...

Oh wait, I wrote the error down. But I won't be able to test anything again till tomorrow.

But it says...

a name error on line 186

uninitialized constant Game_Battler::CAN_PARTITION_NEGATIVE

And if you don't mind me asking, I'm trying to learn a bit how the scripting works for VXA, what was the error? What was it trying to do and what did you do to fix it?

uhm... basically, I forgot that CAN_PARTITION_NEGATIVE is part of the module Adiktuz::partitionDamage, which means to use it, I need to write it as Adiktuz::partitionDamage::CAN_PARTITION_NEGATIVE
