It's an idea I had but I wanted to put this down and see how I could actually do this or set it up easier(Like most my posts, I'm sorry if I'm annoying with my many topics).

To put a bit more character into my game, I thought about some sort of system that would proc party interaction chats every so often. Here's how it would work.

Each Door/transfer event would add 1-5 to a "Chat" variable. It thin checks a conditional branch, which needs Chat at 25(numbers could be changed), and if it was equal to or greater, it would run a common event and reset Chat variable.

Over in the Common event command, it would roll a dice, see which chat to run, excluding the ones that can't proc, and run one quick chat. Like characters talking about food, or the last battle, or something small.

One issue I'm having is how to exclude ones that have already been used from going off again. I suppose each chat could in fact run up another variable or switch but that might easily get over complicated(Though the whole system might be), or confusing.

I'm asking this here as I don't think I outright NEED a script, more discussion about how one would rig this up.

RMMV
You could have the variable check for the max amount of instances. So, let's say you have 4 variations. Instead of having a variable for 1~4, you would have one for 1~16.

(Edit: You can also use items. So give players hidden items at the start and take away one with each occurrence. If you're wanting it to be a random non-repeated event, anything you do is likely to be very involved, though.)

Hidden items, I always forget about hidden items.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
