Party Dialogue?

Hello, I'm still new to RPG Maker XV Ace (started months ago) and I am having a

bit of a problem trying to get something to work.

What I'm looking for is a way to have the party talking to each other while on the map,

like the system in the Dragon Age Series. A example would be: Actor 1 says: "Hey Actor 2,

how are you today?" and Actor 2 replied, "Could be better." but the conversation would

not stop the players movement on the map.

I'm not sure if this has already been done through a script or if it is possible without one.

Please help.  ;_;

The conversation itself is easy. Just have an event triggered by player touch wherever you want it to begin, with all the Show Text commands one after the other to show dialogue.

Without stopping the player's movement on the map is a different matter. While waiting for text to show, other commands don't run and keyboard input is not accepted. You would need a script mod to make that happen. Do a bit of searching, because the request has come up before and a script may have been provided.

Hey!

In addition to Shaz' suggestion, you may also want to take a look at this script by Yanfly.

It creates a small dialogue box in the top left-hand corner of the screen, which you can use for random party banter.

Hope this helps.

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
