Party Member Facing Player

Hello,


I'm new to RPG maker and wanted to know if there was a way to make your party member, that are following behind you, face toward you when they are talking.


To further elaborate, I have a event trigger and the main player character talks, and then I want the character following the main character around to face toward the player character (regardless of what position they are in or facing), to turn toward the player character then speak their line.


This is what I currently have:

You'll need a plugin to control your followers.


Like this one:




Then you can set a plugin command before a movement route that turns toward player.


If you don't want to use plugins, you could make a placeholder event, turn your followers off, transfer the event next to the player and change the graphic of this placeholder event to that of your follower. After you're finished, reverse everything. You probably want to use fade in and fade out screen commands for this //rmwforums.s3.amazonaws.com/emoticons/default_wink.gif
