Party question

I just got this program so i'm still a noob and this might be a stupid question but it's driving me nuts. I'm trying to get a character to join the players party after a convo and I used the change party member thingy in the event, and put it to add said character but it's not adding him. He vanishes from the map like he joined but he isn't coming up in the party menu.

Oh and random question since I don't want to make two posts, does anyone have or know of a fully made game that is open for learning? Like can I actually see the events and scripts so as to learn more about it? I'm a visual/hands on learner and reading tutorials only gets me so far.

Could you post a screen shot of your event page where you are doing this, the whole page, not just the bit with the commands in.  Then we might be able to spot what's happening.

As for the unencrypted game, there is Crysalis, the free sample game that you get when you buy Ace.

you have 2 self switch a's going so it skips the first one it wont travel to each page consecutively instead it will travel to the last page it can use

so u need a self switch B etc

Oh also another random question, I have a jail and in it I have a auto change BGS of dripping playing, well when I leave the jail the drips keep playing even though i'm not there any more. Any idea on how to fix this?

when you leave the sound hasn't been told to stop, you need place a fadeout bgs

On the outside of the jail, change the map properties and check the Auto-Change BGS button. Leave it at None if you don't HAVE a BGS to play on that map. It will stop the previous one from playing.
