Party visibilty

So I have a Scene in my game where I need to add a party member but there's also an event with the same graphic. For the rest of the game, I want the party to be visible, but in this particular scene, is there a way to make the party member not visible?

Not sure what you mean excactly? You mean that you have an event that is showing the party member in question, and you are using the carterpillar mode so that when you add a party member, it shows behind the first actor?


Or is it just an event that will stay visible so when the party member has joined the team he will still be visible on the map? If so, that can be done with adding a switch in the scene, or the way I do it which I think is the easiest and doesnt add the need to have useless switches filling up the project.


I usually add an empty event (for characters, no graphic and totally blank) if I know I will have a specific event with them showing up, or if they will appear on the same map at different times.


That way you can add a set event location for the event in question, then add a move route for the same event and make it transparent or not, change graphic on it etc inside the main event that is currently running. This way you can add the event in and out of the map, and do changes to it whenever you feel like it, without using any sort of switch.

You could use switches. Have the scene play out and when it's time to add the person to your party use the fadeout command, use a switch that will make the other event invisible, add the actor and then use fadein to bring back thescene.

tv program always get the ratings (it's the reason why drama series has 1000+ episode),also full and nonsense of censorship (weird blur, a scene getting cut because the unconvenient viewer,but it unconvenient to me either. you never see what the original is)

i know the reason is to take cover the viewer from the negative thing,but i just laughing and mocking of them that they're always suck :guffaw:
