It's been a while since I've been on here, and since then, I've started a new modern-themed project.
Anyway, I have a few things I'd like help with, but I think I'll post them one at a time since I end up focusing on one thing at a time in this program, anyway.
First off, I'd like to know if there's a way to pass through an impassable tile without using move routes. I don't want to turn Through On and make it possible for the player to move into the walls and things. Of course, if there's a way to flawlessly prevent that with a move route (make it feel like the player's movement isn't being controlled both sides of the tile in question) then that'd work too. Mainly, I'm trying to figure out a way to get a character to move through tiles that may be in the way on an open street (i.e. tiles for a building's roof that may be in the place of a street tile). I don't know if I want to use the Star Passability thing in the Database, but that might work. I'd just like other ideas to go along with it.
Edit: And I just came across a new problem. For whatever reason, the player is unable to move around in a passable tile as soon as they transition from one area to another for some reason. Like, in this case, I've made transitions from inside of a building to the outside. He/she is put in place that has a passable tile, but for some reason, I can not move them once they are outside. There are no events as of yet on the outside that would prevent movement due to autorun or something similar.
