Passability Plugin problem

I have a problem with this plugin. It does the same thing as the Orange Regions plugin, but adds the function of passing tiles back, according to the region ID.


The problem is that when you use it, the character does not go back but above, as you can see in the attached image. The locking and unlocking functions work normally. The error is only in this function.


Anyone who understands javascript can see what the problem is?

Now that you've provided a link, please remove the plugin from your first post.


None of the plugins on that page are called Overpass plugins.  You should take care that you're using the right name, because there IS an overpass plugin that ships with the engine, and using the wrong name can make people think you're using a completely different plugin.


I suggest you give that one a go instead - it's a Kadokawa plugin, and there are a couple of threads about it on the forum here that should help you figure out how it works.

It's a bit complicated to post forum posts from another language .. but as I saw this forum is the most suitable in rpg maker, I decided to get help here, because this plugin is extremely important to me ..


I had it in VX Ace, but now that I've migrated to MV I've been looking for it from the beginning and I do not come to a resolution ...

The topic you linked contains links to several scripts that can be used for that function - can you give us the link directly to the website from the plugin you've choosen to use.


Additionally, pleasy provide screenshots of both the plugin manager (to see where in the order of plugins you've installed that one and what other plugins you have) and a screenshot of your tileset database with the tile used for that roof marked?


There are several things that might have happened here, and your existing screenshots don't give enough information to determine what caused the problem.

I usually leave all the plugins I think of using, just turning them off .. so consider only ON (Ligados) plugins


As for tileset, I have not made any changes.

but i test it for me and not function... only for bridges  ;_;

Can you post a screenshot of your map showing the regions, and a screenshot of your plugin parameters?


That plugin list is WAY too long for me to even consider looking through it - if you have a number of plugins that use regions for different things, it's possible they may be conflicting.  It might be easier to start a new project and add only this plugin, get it working, and then duplicate the plugin settings and the regions into your existing project.

I just tested here .. my project looks like it's still in the older version of the maker .. but I created a new project in version 1.3.1 ..
In the old version the plugin works but with the error of passing over the tile .. the lock still works ..
In the new version neither it .. the characters simply disappear, a bug does not let the characters see as if they were below the map..

According to this post where it's working properly:





passability needs to be set to O.


I wonder if it doesn't work with autotiles?  Can you take a tile from the B-E sheets that has an O for passage setting and draw with it just on the top row of the roof?  Then play and see if THAT tile appears over the player.  If it does, it might be an issue with using autotiles (and in that case the solution could be taking a screenshot of the map, copying the tiles and putting them into the B-E sheets, and mapping with those instead of the autotile - or on top of the autotile).

Thanks for the tips Shaz !! Based on my tests I was seeing here that to make sure not only a plugin could do it, so I decided to test two .. ORANGE COLISIONS and OVERPASS TILE. That way I get the effect I want.


It is necessary to leave all the roofs with O (as well as the interior walls). Making it passable, the character can cross Overpass Tile and then enter the Orange Colisions, to block the places where it does not pass, since it will only pass behind the last tile normally ..


In the images in the case, it passes behind the region 255 and is prevented in region 100.


The disadvantage is that in large places will use much the regions, but this is no any problem ..

I just found a more complicated situation ...
Mountains for example ... with them is more complicated to make work when we can go over ...


If it goes down it ends up crossing the whole mountain on top, as if there was no blockage ... I'm trying to see a form here, but so far nothing has had any effect on this issue ..

I wouldn't use it like that.  Not what it was designed for, and it just seems very complicated.

That. Neither of the two is used for this purpose .. But I have not found any that is specific for this, like Terrain Tags of VX Ace ...


Also I just saw here that Overpass and Region Colisions did not work .. Overpass only worked with the plugin for which I asked for help ...


So far it has served well, but in the example below, was what I would have intended to do ... in Ace had achieved but as the MV does not have this specific plugin, this is impossible ...


What I wanted was for someone to see what's wrong with the plugin I posted or even, if it was possible, create one.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
