Passive Enemies on Water

Hey all. Hoping someone can help me out with this..

I am trying to make some passive enemies on the water (jellyfish etc) so they wouldn't attack you unless you touch them. However, I also want them to move around. I tried a few different things but nothing seems to work. I tried doing a custom path with 'Through' on but you can't trigger the battle unless you click the action button on them. I want to be able to just touch them and it starts the battle.

Please let me know if you have any ideas!

The "Player Touch" trigger will do the trick. This will trigger the event if the player runs into the event (but not if the event runs into the player while the player is standing still - if you want both, you'd choose "Event Touch"). You may need to choose the "Same As Characters" priority for the event page; I forget whether that's necessary.

If you get yanfly's region restriction plugin (yanfly.moe) you can give areas certain regions that will allow an event to move around freely on them even if a player cannot. Then you wouldn't have to set the event as "through".

For the record, it was set to touch. Touch does not work when an event character has "through" on. I'll take a look at the yanfly's region restriction plugin, thanks.

I'm not sure what isn't working for you. Do you mean that the Region Restriction plugin isn't working for you? If that's the case could you please screenshot how you configured the plugin parameters for it? The plugin def works.
