Hello, I have a script request and it'd be great if someone could help me with that, I want a new option in the menu

to equip new states (it'd be via items or armors but I want them in a new option) the window will look like that

nce55g.jpg

The blue and white circles would be the used and unused slots the player has used, those could be represented in the menu scren with icons, now the player can start with certain slots quantity and he would gain a extra slot via level up or with events.

Also, I'd like each character has it own storage container to have those special items, and I'd like those items can be configurated to being equiped in certain characters (for example, one can be used only by the characters with the id of 2, 4, and 5)

I'm using Yanfly's passive states to that can be used to add the passive trait to an armor and add it to those items

Not sure if I'm explaining properly what I want so feel free to ask any specification is needed to work in that.

Well, for now there is nothing I think should be added so thanks a lot if you wish to work in this request.

Are there only those few character who can use this feature? Or can all characters use this, just with different types of add-ons?

if all of them can use it, try yanfly's custome equip script and attributing each add-on item with armor types like "Warrior Gear", "Mage Gear," or "Ralph's Gear."

I could... If I can create a equipment (something like a belt for a character) has some slots, can be upgraded and can equip some items/armors in itself

And all characters can use this, but I want some of this passive equipment things can be equipped by only certain characters

If you don't want to use the custom equip slot script, you could try Galv's Shard script which changes your character's abilities based on which "shards" are equipped.

I saw this one, but it's more to being able to equip passive states, not learning attacks, thanks for the suggest anyways

I wouldn't mind to use Formar's script, but I want to know if it's possible to make certain equipment have some slots, and make the things equipable in this item cost some of those slots

So, you're looking for something like:

Ralph equips Zodiac Gauntlet.

Ralph: "hey! There's a hole here. It looks like the same shape as those zodiac stones we found. Hmmm..."

Ralph equips Scorpio Stone.

Ralph now has Venomous State!

Ralph switches it for Aries Stone.

Ralph loses Venomous state and gains Fire Force state!

Like that?

If so, you may be able to use Yanfly's custom equip script, with script calls attached to equipment like the gauntlet example above, either unlocking or sealing certain equip slots.

And I *think* the shard system can do passive states via script calls, too. I'd have to check.

Exactly! That'd be a perfect substitute for this idea... Well, a near-perfect one, I need some of them have some slot cost (following your example, Scorpio stone would cost 3 slots of this gauntlet in order to be equipped) and making some equipment restriction based in characters (Example: Aries stone is only equipable in Ralph)

Something I forgot to say is I want some of those passive equipment being unable to equip if there is another one in this gauntlet (example, Scorpio stone and Aries stone can't be eqquiped together) is that possible?

I could solve the slot increment by just making the character upgrades this equipment, so it'd be ok, I guess

Just about finished I reckon.
This could probably be an entire thread, but it’s really interesting how replaying a game several years later can change how you relate to a character. I think Tidus from FFX got such a bad rap. I getchu. Completely different reaction as an adult now.
As you see, I still enjoy writing tutorials. Is there anything specific you want to see? (I know mapping and editing/resource making is usually popular, but those are very broad topics)
Well, I wanted to expand player battlers visually and now have 3 sheets and counting for each of my players party.
1. Regular sheet
2. The character has turned stone sheet.
3. Using potions sheet.

Technically the main hero has 4 since he starts with a wooden sword, and I felt that the battler should reflect that until he gets a metal one.

Right back to the RM game dev grind in about 15 minutes. :LZSexcite:
