sorry if this has been asked before, but I couldn't find anything similar on the recent threads (I'm still searching tho)

is it possible to increment a character's stat or parameter by level and have it be active in and out of battle? like, mp or hp regeneration for instance.

say, at level 1 a character's MP regeneration is 1. As they level up, the MRG goes up to 10 points say at level 90.

the total amount of MP points may vary from class to class, to the percentages equivalent for 10 points may be different, but two different classes will still regenerate 10 points total, provided they have learned the same skill.

I tried using skill/state pairs but they only give me active skills, not passive.

does anyone know if this will be a thing in MV?

I can explain my idea further on, if somebody asks.

Depending on which maker, you'll need either scripts or plugins for passive states - but those scripts already exist (and were showcased in one plugin video in case of MV)

Alternatively, you can give an actor a permanent bonus by eventing commands as well.

ok, so it's being included in MV?

I'm just beginning with Ace, and I saw that MV is being released, so I didn't want to focus too much on development in Ace.

what I wanted was to mix the by-level skill learning in Ace, but have those skills add a passive bonus, and I tried going the states way, but didn't work.

it added the state, but only after triggering the skill manually.

It's not included in Vanilla MV, but there will be plug-ins (scripts) that enable it.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
