I feel like a noob for not knowing this but oh well >.<

I have a loop going on, how do I add a pause, so the player can keep doing stuff but it takes X seconds for the loop to start again?

A screenshot of your event would be immensely helpful (the whole event window).

Is your loop the only thing in the event commands?

Is the event set to autorun or parallel process?

What else is happening inside the loop?

As you can see I have it running Parallel - but I need a buffer countdown.

You do not need to have a loop within a parallel processing event, because they loop by default.  Simply remove the loop and add your commands, with a Wait X Frames after them.

When you take a screenshot of an event or something in the database, just use Alt+PrintScreen.  It grabs all of the active window and none of what's behind it, which gives an image that contains most of the information needed, and none of the desktop background (or in this case whitespace), which makes the image smaller and harder to read.  No need to crop when you use that key combo :)

A parallel event is already in an infinite loop, so you don't need that loop to begin with.

As for the delay you're looking for, you can simply use the "wait..." command.

Has it really been 50 streams? At this point it's just guilting me into pushing out a prototype. :kaoswt:

I should probably just bite the bullet and send it out, then go with my original plan to provide weekly updates.
I know it's just other small RM devs, but it still always feels legitimizing to have folks email me in private with a steam key, requesting a review of their game.:kaoluv: Look ma, I've made it to the big leagues. small edit: another email just came in. :kaoback:
time and time again I enjoy dramatic remarks on how I should find a better job.
As it stands, I go to work for 10-14 days a month. At work, I have time for my private projects. I arrive home, my mind is clear.
So yes, the pay sucks. But I have what so many lose after graduation. Freedom.
Came back cuz of the sale. Got MZ. The System 2 advanced settings for UI are so frustrating, and I see we still hate pixel fonts. Marvelous.
Did another YouTube short. This one has like 1k views (or maybe 380? Analytics is being weird). Getting them zoomer views, yo!
