Anyone else here build their own PC? Ever since I started using a custom PC I can't stand the idea of simply buying another in a store. Its so much nicer IMO to have a PC that you picked the parts for and assembled.

Current (build from 2014-2015):
Intel Core i7 4790k @ 4.0 GHz with liquid cooling
AMD Radeon R9 Fury X 4 GB HBM with liquid cooling
16 GB 1866 MHz DDR3
512 GB SSD, and 2 TB HDD
Windows 10 Education Edition x64

This isn't just for gaming, though largely it is. It makes a great PC to work with too for obvious reasons. The liquid cooling helps keep the noise (and temps) down even under load.

My current audio production/gaming rig:

AMD Ryzen 1600x, OCed to 4.05GHz
EVGA GTX 1060 6GB
32GB GSkill 2400MHz DDR4
250GB SSD for Windows and essential programs, and 6TB of additional storage for work stuff.
Windows 10 64-bit

In the near future I'd like to upgrade to 64GB of RAM and perhaps throw some extra storage in!

Just half a year ago, I put together the computer I'm using now.

Intel i7-7700k @ 4.2GHz
Gigabyte GTX 1080 8GB
32GB Corsair Vengence DDR4 3000MHz
500GB NVMe Samsung SSD 960 EV) (beautiful drive, incredibly small, physically, amazingly fast)
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Three 1080p monitors

Edit:
@futrchamp Why upgrade to 64GB? Does audio production use an exorbitant amount of RAM? Because I also have 32GB, which is a lot and that I rarely use much of. Even being a bad programmer and making something consume 5GB in about 30 seconds, I didn't go higher than 45% used, haha.

@Zalerinian

Yep, when using realistic orchestral sample libraries, and doing lots of effects/processing etc. RAM usage is huge. A recent track of mine used a combined 49GB of sample data, and when there's not enough RAM to go around, the samples get loaded and swapped from HDD in (hypothetically) real time, which is incredibly slow in practice. So in the future I'd like to have a bit more to speed up my workflow for the incredibly large projects, even though I won't use 64GB in day-to-day scenarios.

That's pretty impressive.

Our latest feature is an interview with... me?!

People4_2 (Capelet off and on) added!

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
