I'm trying to use the tool common event scripting power within Falcoa's Pearl ABS system, so I set one up a simple one that should only move the player two steps ahead and then use a standard attack.

My common event:

Move Route (Player, Wait)

-- One Step Forward

-- One Step Forward

-- Script: use_weapon(72)

Weapon 72 is the "dagger attack" from the Pearl Demo and the result I get is an invisible flying dagger attack that is two steps ahead of my player.

Does anyone have any more detailed information or demos on the use of the common events in conjunction with skills/tools with this ABS than the summon spell in the demo?

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
