    Trailer:

    Features:

    • Follow an intense and thrill-inducing sci-fi story set in outer space!
    • Choices matter – The choices you make have an impact on events in the story and how other characters feel about you.
    • Relationship building – What you choose to say or to do will cause you to win or lose reputation with your fellow crewmates.
    • Romance – A chance to develop a romantic connection with the female crew members.
    • Skills Specialisation – Your Medicine, Engineering, Athletics, and Charisma attributes will open up some new dialogue options and interactions with the world, but you will need to decide which of them to specialise in or whether to simply be a jack of all trades.
    • Morale is your currency – Making progress and winning trust will increase your morale, which is required for completion of the more technical and challenging tasks.

    Synopsis:

You are Edan Vargas, a new member aboard Pegasus-5 Trade Ship. The ship is set to make a pretty standard trade route with only a small detour to sell a special rare item. However, before long after departure, the crew wakes up to discover that many of the ship’s systems have been compromised and they are lost in space, unable to establish exactly where they are and how far they’ve gone off the course. Who aboard is responsible for this and why?

As the new guy aboard, you’ll have to build trust with your crewmates and develop friendships with them, for their loyalty can be very invaluable in what you are going to face. You may even build romantic relationships with some of them!

The journey ahead will be a harrowing one. You will make stops in unfamiliar locations, tackle environmental hazards, and get hunted by organized gangs operating in space. Apart from your crewmates, you also have your unique talents to help you out, and you will need to decide which of those talents to specialise in if you are to get through this in one piece. Your choices will affect how your teammates feel about you, how certain events will develop, and even who survives at the end!

Good luck, brave adventurer, and godspeed, for you will need it!

Awwww Finally! I am so glad to see it up there! ^^ I love also your content as it really seems to improve. I love your title; the quality of your English humbles me a lot. So yeah I could had spend weeks trying to send you title suggestion but in the end, only you could had pulled it out so well. (It even inspired me to wanna illustrate you the title page or get you anim credits :p )

Sorry everyone reading this, if you know @Matseb2611 very well and have similar tastes and are on the creative side, you might understand that sometimes just a light push or a suggestion one side or the other just kinda flourishes inspiration. And... Once inspiration comes, it is not like a faucet, you just can't turn it off . Else, in reverse you wouldn't hear of the blank page syndrome!

Oh also @Matseb2611 , the background skills are on a widest span that Snares Of Ruin. I mean, not only do you have one more but you also have four totally different fields (I bet approach), I bet you are above your ears in variables right now. Something tells me it will require a lot of attention to all the different path your story may go in. (Not that it would be something I don't anticipate from you, but it feel more concrete and harsh on the narrator.) Hey, anytime a blank page/screen or the nothing or you hit a gorignak; chimes me on Steam! I'll be please to take my cybermental shovel and flatten all those figurative bumps on the road I can for you!

I really am thinking to make a tiny money jar just for your games close to my computer now . :p (All right close to the kitty jar! XD )

Thank you for all the positive words, @Marquise*. I appreciate that. :D And yeah, you brainstorming all the different titles was very helpful. I was noting them all down on the notepad file as we were going along, but it was nice that we managed to gradually converge on a suitable title. Usually brainstorming is something I don't enjoy quite as much, so I either wait for something to surface from my subconscious or I get other people or even online generators to throw a load of different ideas my way so that I can sift through them. :)

Regarding the 4 backgrounds, since I mentioned to you on Steam, thought I'd mention here too for other people - apart from your starting skills they'll mostly just be mentioned in various dialogues, so I think it shouldn't be too tricky. The main story will still be going along the same path regardless of your career background prior to joining the ship's crew. :) The rest will depend on your skills. For example, if your medicine skill is high enough, you'll be able to heal a wounded ally, and so on.

But anyway, thank you again for the encouragement. I'm making good progress on this game. Have about 1 hour's worth of gameplay done.

Someday perhaps, once I have someone to make proper animated cutscenes (or if I learn to do that myself), I might end up with a 20 GB game. A man can dream, right? :guffaw:

Wow!! I love the look of this soo much!! ^_^ It's great to see more Sci-fi RM games, it's so inspiring! ^_^ :) This reminds me sooo much of Mass Effect, and it brings back so much memories! ^_^ Looking forward for this! ;)

    @Marquise* : I hope so too!

@Starmage : Thank you very much! I'm kind of surprised myself in a way how the visuals have all come together so well, considering they're all by different artists (busts by Adyrn, tiles by PVGames, and various things I bought from gamedevmarket by 3 or so different people). But sci-fi genre is pretty much my forte, so I hope this game will not disappoint. I agree that we need more sci-fi RM games. :)

Will make sure to make more gameplay sample videos in the near future as more of the game is made.

@Matseb2611 Then consider this as your Easter Egg ^^
    Pegasus5LOGOTYPE.png
    HAPPY EASTER DAY!
Sorry for the no inking, no photoshopping, no other thing than recyc strip of paper. But to be honest I know you already have someone on the logo but truly I could stamp that in a starship once cleaned up and chromed. See the lil' Roman V under the Arabic 5 that is the hind leg of the Pegasus? Also managed to get that creature to get all fueling the middle letters. Couldn't stretch too much the wings in half atomic way but I like how they hug all elements on different level and also form the P for Pegasus so the details is a wee bit like an Ouroboros but not self-digested. XD

Now that should temporarily cure me from making animated starfields and credits. :p

Thank you very much, @Marquise*. As I mentioned to you on Steam, that is a brilliant logo design idea. I might just go with that in the end. :D Thanks for this Easter present.

err wasn't done yet. He misses a leg too and the chrome and color. Also, I use ^&%^&%^& bazier curves. Except I do it so rarely I forgot how to cut and close a shape path in CS4. :/ All tutorials or manuals have changed since and I feel a wee bit lost now that they automatically refer me to the website. Spam!

I might change the shape of that U
