Which animated battlers? Victor sant? then no. I don't know about others.

Hi, I'm running this script with Yanfly's Party System + the compatibility patch that was posted for it in this thread (on page 3). When an actor is using a medium summon and the party wins the battle, the summon goes away and the actor comes back as normal. However, when the party flees from battle, the summon doesn't go away. This issue isn't present when I'm not using Yanfly's Party System. I feel like there's a simple fix to this but I can't quite figure it out.

I am having difficulty tracking down which script is interfering with the set of Ruby's instructions you entitled "Pets and Summons Compatibility" for VX Ace.

The symptoms are: A MED_SUMMON does not summon the indicated actor (the appropriate numbers have been triple-checked). The skill functions, the target is set to the "user", but when used, the actor is not replaced. The game does not crash. Turn limit has been set to 3, and level adjustment is set to 0.

Where did you put that notetag? <SUMMON x,x,x>

and Your actually still using Windows XP?
Newer windows have a screen capture utility called snipping tool. No need for phone captures

Use Alt+Print Scrn on your keyboard, open up Paint, then press Ctrl+V or find the Paste command. Voila!

Good luck with solving your error dilemma. I've also faced issues with this plugin, but it's not the one I'm focused on fixing at the present time.

I feel really stupid, but...

I've copied the script in; now what?

There's something saying "skill/item notetags: <SUMMON actor_id, timer, etc.>" in the comments. I assume I put that down in the notes of the skill I want to use to summon the actor? or am I supposed to put it into damage formula? maybe as a common event?

i'm confused.

So I tried this script and everything works and all but the moment I win the battle, an error occurs:

Script 'Pets and Summons' line 410: NoMethodError occurred. undefined method 'reset_actor_sprites' for nil:NilClass

Can anyone help me find the issue?
