I can't believe I'm having a issue with this, It's so strait forward, and clean cut.

Is it perhaps a bug in the engine(RPG Maker) its self?

The first pic shows the overall event, the 2nd pic shows the display pic options.

No matter what I put into the coordinance option, the pictures show up in the same spot

What seems to be going on, is the Origin(side note: center option puts it in the upper left corner, and the upper left option, puts it on the left, like you see it, so even that's not working as is intended) display position options are overriding the specific coordinance option(however you are forced to select one of the origin options, you can't choose to select neither).

Note: I'm using the newly released pics, if that matters any.

The show picture command uses pixels for placement, not event tiles. You're not seeing a difference because the change with your current setup is very minuet.

Ok that's wierd, well It's worth a try, brb while I test that out.

yeah, show picture uses screen coordinates, thinking it uses the tile coordinates is one of the common mistakes you can commit when using them...

0,0 will be upper left of screen, the bottom right will be 544,416... each tile is 32x32 pixels in size... so you will need to compute using those

lmfo lol(who thought of coding it like that), thanks a lot, that worked perfectly.
I would not want it any other way. If pictures were confined to a grid like events... There would have to be a lot of "white space" around images to position them correctly.

Yea I have a feeling I'm not the first person to have a issue with this.

That is actually the most logical way of doing it... via pixels...

yeah, a number of people have had that problem... :)

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
