NOTE: This series is being developed and improved for a commercial release, so these free versions are no longer available. Many thanks to everyone who commented on this project! If you're one of those people, send me a message and I'll reserve you a Steam copy of the games when they come out.

Locked away in the most secure prison in the galaxy, with little hope of escape, Gail Pilgrim faces the most difficult ordeals of her life. Her only hope lies in trusting those who she has come to regard as her friends.

Old enemies resurface and dark truths are revealed in this final installment of the epic Pilgrim saga.

Well, this has been a long and highly enjoyable experience. This whole thing began with a sprite of a red-haired woman waking up on a spaceship, having been dreaming about a doughnut the size of a moon. I decided that the woman’s name was Gail Pilgrim. At the time I had absolutely no idea where the story would go from there, or that it would grow into such a grand project and be so well-received by those who have played it so far.

I hope that you will all find this final episode to be a satisfying conclusion to Gail’s adventures.

RMMV
It's too bad I still haven't completed the 3rd one. I remember I kept getting stuck on it after every few minutes. :/

I'm finding that it crashes near the beginning, when I talk to the prison cook.  When the choices box should appear.

Script 'Game_Interpreter' line 1411: NameError occurred.

undefined local variable or method 'combine_choices'  for #<Game_Interpreter:0x8ebb4e8>

It seems to happen if I go to the infirmary first and speak to the patient and doctor, before the cook.

Thanks for that report! I've fixed this error and updated the download links.

Thanks, finished.  I think it took me the longest time to work out how to deal with the lighting, but I got there eventually!

It has been very enjoyable to follow the adventures of Gail and her associates across galaxies and quite different from most (if not all) RPGs I've played previously.

One of the things I really liked is that you bothered to have a description, often humorous, for most  objects, such as the lampiest lamp that ever was.  I played a commercial one recently that had none at all, which made it a bit boring in some respects.

I think my favourite episode was III, as it had the various cities to move between, which made it seem a bit less linear.

The only downside is that I'm now addicted to Galactic Hospital... :)

Thanks for your comments!

Episode III is my favourite as well, although I did enjoy creating the prison for the beginning of this episode. In some ways it's a better setting for a puzzle-solving game, as you're realistically limited to the items in your immediate environment. I also enjoyed giving each prisoner a little backstory.

And yeah, I should pitch Galactic Hospital to some TV companies. :D

But der some Questions like what's with the Notebook from her Mom? or will she meet her Mom in the real World too?

Or do Ashanti and Jojo come together?

I think the first two questions are linked - during the dream sequence, Gail's Mom asks her to hold on to the notebook for her. Later, if you examine the notebook, Gail will say "I'll keep this safe for her" which suggests that she intends to go and visit her in the future and give her the notebook. Perhaps this will prove to be the key to unlocking some of her memories.
Ashanti's problem with Jojo in Episode III was that he wasn't stable and reliable enough for her. However, he seems to have been changed by his experiences in Episode IV, so I think they probably get together. :)

I'm currently seeking an artist to help me re-develop these games and possibly to work together on future installments.

For more information, the project recruitment thread is here.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
