I work so hard on this one that I feel I would never end so I compile all polish and publish, I have too many other projects and they are not moving at all, I work on a lot of assets for this game but it just too much work, I am here at the 1:00 AM in order to give an gorgeous “end” to this project. [SIZE=10.5pt]I was thinking on post this on complete games but it does not fill the amount of words for the game [/SIZE]synopsis[SIZE=10.5pt] and the game [/SIZE]length[SIZE=10.5pt] is kinda short, is the standard for an arcade game but just in case, i do not want to do this two times and upset a moderator or something.[/SIZE]

I gave this game a quick try this morning because I'm always intrigued by unique concepts made in RM. And I really do like the concept you have going here. But right the execution is not the best.

The Intro

I realize English is not your native language and it really shows here. As is, the intro makes very little sense. I'm not faulting for you for your language skills. In fact, I am always impressed by those who come to this forum and make games in their non-native language. However, if you are going to do so, I strongly advise finding someone who can read through and edit and help you word things best so that they are understandable. Not to mention it was visually difficult to read due to the lack of background behind the text.

Another thought on the intro is have it optional. With quick death games and no option to save after the intro, it's annoying to have to sit through the intro every single time. If not having the intro optional, you could easily throw in an auto-save or ask the player if they want to save immediately after the intro is over.

Instructions

The instructions were very confusing and I felt very lacking. All I got out of them was to press up for attack and X for something else to happen. I had no concept of what exactly my goal was, what all the different pieces falling would do or how to even use them once I caught them. When I finally managed to seem to hit the ball correctly, it turned red. Why? I had no idea what a red ball meant. Thought I saw it flash green at one point, was that a fluke or did that mean something as well? Please note, I'm not asking you to answer these questions here in this thread. I am asking you to answer these questions in the game, where it matters.

Game Over

I would highly recommend if you are going to have a game where Game Over is highly likely in the first 30 seconds, that you make it so that it does not actually Game Over. Perhaps give options: Replay Level, Return to Menu, Exit Game. Something like that. It's very frustrating to die so quickly anyway, but then have to start all the way from the title screen and sit through the intro again - it does not make me want to play.
I know this might sound harsh, I tried my hardest not to. And please realize, if I did not think the game had enough potential, I wouldn't have bothered leaving feedback at all. I would love to try playing this game again with some of these things fixed up.

Ohhh, for being honest i does not expect someone would play it my games usually they go to the bottom haha, i was so focused on adding life to the ball that i forget everything else, i would fix it as soon as possible (12-24 hours)

+ Intro History line fixed

+ English stuff fixed

+ Window screen transparency and text color fixed.

+ Save screen after intro fixed (The intro Just appears once)

+ Instruction manual fixed.

+ Evil orb not changing color anymore.

+ 6 lives starting instead of 3.

+ Options added on "game over" screen (The "replay" button was hard so instead i make a "load game" option)

I've play the game.

Its interesting game, i like the idea.

first impression, something not right for the event.

When i play bgm change suddenly, try make intro more story wise or make player learn about your game.

Give some tutorial or level prolog for player.

Message box transparent make me hard to reading the text, please don't make transparent window message.

gameplay, sometimes the hit box not right, i certainly can reach the ball.

But sometimes the ball cannot bounce and i've game over several times in stage 1.

For size its nice than before.

i forgot love, help < i think this bgm not use in the game ?

too large size for bgm, IMO.

Try to convert in .ogg stuff. (You can use format factory or Audicity to convert them).

Try to make 2 option, like game with rtp and not include rtp. This is will friendly to user who have a vx ace ^^b

(My internet connection is 50KBps) but it just my opinion ^^b

This game have nice idea, but need more improvement to presentation the game.

Thanks for the game, i hope you can make more improvement for this one ^^b

Ok, thanks for playing.

The bgm issue is going to be a thing, i just need to testing a lot of times because the eventing for the game play is kinda messy and extensive, if you mean the sound changing when hit the ball is made just for fun. Originally this game goal was to bring to rpg maker the arcade ping pong game so there was not history involved but i added and realize that is a mistake, however i will try to see what it can be done. The tutorial does not seems necessary to me but i will check it out. The MSG box will not be transparent i guess but seems fine to me.The thing with it the ball is a matter of prediction i try everything but that is the best performance with eventing, the other options just make the ball pass trough the player. You are asking for a better angular momentum hit, i need better mathematics for that, and the game is not so hard i never go game over on the test and i was thinking it was so easy, i do not know what to think. I always use wav to keep audio quality, the i forget love, help is the ending song, and the delicious taco song is at the begging, that is the one added, but again i will try to make versions of the downloads as you suggested.

I have other projects in mid and cant goo full on this one, (i mean at least this is published the others are in a trash can and are making me crazy) i will leave it on the stock and see more opinions.

I know you can keep audio quality, but remember for size.

I think format .ogg or .mp3 is nice too. (you can keep the quality in 386kbps)

if you have trouble for convert, i can help for convert and keep the quality too.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
