Hay, so I'm making a naval based RPG game. So it's starts of with picking your character looks or making a character. Then select a faction, so can be a merchant sailor, pirate or Navy. Which ever you pick will have different reaction from people, so villagers may not be keen to talk to a pirate and the navy won't be welcome in a pirate bar ect. Then you get your ship... well raft to start with, the. Explore! Different island with different quests people and themes. Throw in a very generous amount of Easter eggs and references and we'll have to see where it goes from there. If you have any ideas for the game or any tips to avoid just being another RPG maker game would be greatly appreciated!

'General Discussion' is not for feedback on individual games, but for looking at issues which affect the making of games as they might apply more generally.

Please have a look at the "Ideas and Prototypes" forum to see if you have enough material to start a thread there. If you haven't, then you will need to forumulate your post to be a bit more specific with what you are looking for, and post in "Ideas that don't deserve their own thread."

As I cannot move this to Ideas and Prototypes, due to that being a moderated forum, I shall have to close it.

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...
