Figured I'd ask this here as I feel it may be relevant to those learning like myself.

"What does the term RTP mean?"

I'm seeing this term a lot already and I'm confused to what its supposed to mean. I'd love some clarification on this.

RTP stands for Run Time Package, which in turn is the RPG Maker standard resources (graphics and audio) which comes with the program.

what if we want feed back on a pix person but don't know where to post it... like im coloring on gimp for the first time, and i really need the experts to show me where i am going wrong so i can improve my artwork..but i don't know where really to post it so i can get that much needed feed back.. so really is the academy only in session when there's a event going on or is it a all purpose learner place?

You could always post it in the Resource WIP topic in the General Resource forum. If there isn't a section for that here then you'll find the feedback there, sometimes people would do edits or point you in the right direction.
