Just a simple prototype / tech-demo / preview for a self-developed jump & run mechanism.

Everything evented & scripted.

At the moment everything is still a mess!
As soon as I have implemented all the mechanics, I will completely redo the whole thing!

The steam-workshop-project will get a template! I try to make it as easy as possible, so everyone can use and customize it.


I will update the project after some time, please report all bugs!


Current Features:
- Very simple jump & run mechanic.
- One simple enemy, one dead zone, customizable hit boxes.

To-Do-List:

- More Hitboxes for Player
- A Player-Sprite with animations (walk, jump, land)
- More enemies
- More platformer-stuff (puzzle stuff like a laser & a button to deactivate the laser,...)
- More stuff to customize
- Sound-effects & music
- Wall-sliding (if possible)
- Moveable box (if possible)
- ???


If you have any suggestions, ideas, etc. I would be happy the hear them!

The jump/fall mechanic seems a bit slow, but maybe that's just the framerate? It's a very cool concept, and looks very smooth.

Unfortunately, it's not the gif / framerate, it's really that slow (at the moment). I will speed it up in the future but now I focus on the complete mechanics first. ^^

The problem is that if the movement with pixels the gravity system is not very fluent.
Yeah... I try my best, to make it as smooth / fluent as possible. ^^
