I mean, he voted before he was banned. No worries.
Oh, I thought he was in the bracket. My mistake.
I'm doing the calculations on qualifying sprites now. Sorry for the delay, I was out all of yesterday unexpectedly.
You can find the theme and brackets over here!
Does this theme cover futuristic/steampunk stuff? or present day only?
It's about being creative, so don't worry~
What exactly is the time range for modern? The last 10 years? I'd like to know before I start.
The first post should have the full schedule inside the spoilers.
Unless the dates change again.
Did the brackets just change? I was up against someone else a few minutes ago. :S
Yeah, it was changed due to some confusion in my part while I was making the graphics. It should be fine now. (this is what happens when a non-sports fan (me) interacts with a sports fan and not familiar with the rules, oops)
I've refrained from commenting on my own qualifing sprite, so as to not give me away. I suppose we're allowed to now though?
Also, I was wondering if you would announce who made what qualifying sprite. I'm curious about a few
We shouldn't. Because people should know who made what by the end of the contest. The reasoning for this is that certain techniques/bias/procedures bleed through the way you make stuff. So saying what sprite you made early on is going to make people know what your style is, etc. and bias will come into play. or something like that.
I'm pretty sure that's not possible, as everyone stays anonymous throughout the contest, until a winner is announced. Then the names get revealed.
Either way, good luck to everyone! This will be very interesting to see the sprites churning out again.
Yeah, we will reveal who made what at the end of the contest.
In the last Pixel Madness, the closer it got to the finals, the easier it was to spot someone's style. It was still just an educated guess though - so hopefully this time it won't be as easy ^_^;
For anyone who wants to fill out a bracket who isn't participating, I just added the bracket form on the first page. Fill it out and PM your filled out form to either Ralph or email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Anyone who is not participating can fill out a bracket, and the person with the highest point total wins a prize!
I see, thanks for the head-up ^^
Totally wish I saw this earlier. ;___;
I guess I'm out
At least you still get a badge for participating!
Unless that's for bracket entries only ...
Separate names with a comma.
