I hope I'm posting in the right section.
(This may sound silly for most of you but I'm really in a serious dilemma
)
So I'm wondering, what are the pros and cons of 1 pixel movement? I want to know because I'm in a dilemma whether to stick with the default 48 pixel movement of RMMV or use a plugin to make it 1 pixel. All my maps so far are parallax, and probably most of my future maps would be too. I tried a certain movement plugin, I like how the movement works since it gives your character freedom to move and of course, really works well for a parallax map because of collision mask etc. But I had some issues that made me revert to using a default movement of the game. Problems like it doesn't work well with some player touch event like map transfers, and doesn't work in a footsteps plugin that uses the default 48 pixel movement. Those made me think what if the time comes when I already finished most of my maps, then I suddenly face a new problems regarding this? It will be a burden to redo all the maps made for a 1 pixel movement back to the default.
So I need your help if you have experiences/insights in using such plugin or script, and tell me its pros and cons, before I decide whether to go for it or not.
