I am very surprised that out of all the default hairstyles in RPG Maker VX Ace, for females or otherwise, there are no ponytails to speak of.

So I'm trying to edit one myself by altering one of the default hairstyles but I just can't get the highlight/color to look right!  When I zoom out it's super obvious I added it on and it looks crappy.  Are there any resources I can get that include a ponytail hairstyle, or can anyone show me a good example of one that's similar to the one you could find in RPG maker VX Ace?  It'd really be appreciated.

By my definition of a ponytail, there is. The actor next to Ralph - Natalie? Blond hair. Ribbon.

But if you need help let me know.

^ I mean a ponytail.  And I mean for the sprites not the actor faces.

If you zoom into the sprite enough and figure out its pixel logic then adding the ponytail should be no problem. C:

After the initial success with one event, I set up four different events on the same map to detect who is in which slot in my current party, and fortunately it managed to work as intended, with the events changing image to match the party members even as I swapped their positions around in formation. This will be a great tool for immersive scene design.
Finally finished the first hand-drawn map! It took me a week, but I'm so proud!
Actual line of code I just had to write for a plugin:

return Object.keys(this._shopStock).map(key => key.split(",")).map(element => element.map(value => Number(value))).filter(key => key[0] === mapId && key[1] === eventId);
