My players on MacOS Catalina are reporting the same problem. The game crashes on launch. And an error report generates the following message:

It appears pixi.js isn't playing nice with the GPU driver for Catalina. This wasn't a problem with earlier versions of MacOS. Any idea how to resolve this? My project runs on Rpg Maker MV 1.5.2. Has the pixi.js file been revised since then?

Help would be greatly appreciated:)

Last time I checked the RPG maker MV Editor works fine on Catalina but deployed games simply will not work (the game is a 32 bit application, Catalina is 64 bit only).

I have also been told since MV is 5 years old, the chance that MV will upgrade to deploy 64 bit games are 0%.

So as a Mac user myself, I was forced to revert back to Mojave so that I could continue to create my game, which includes deploying and testing the game.

I see. I didn't know Catalina was 64 bit only (I'm a Windows user). That pretty much explains why they don't get along:-/.
Sucks not being able to deploy to Mac anymore, though.

Well, many Mac users are waiting to upgrade to Catalina because many apps simply do not work because of the 64 bit app requirement. So its worth deploying the Mac version of the game on STEAM, like I do, for Mac users who decided not to upgrade to Catalina.
