I have a question. Say I want to show a few images whenever I use a skill, is it possible? For example, when I am in battle, I used heal, right? I want to play set of images to show on the screen, how would I do that?

The images are not only one but say 4 images. They are like animations, which has frames, so I want to show the first picture, then the second, then the third...and so on.

How can I do this via script specific for each actor and skill?

First thing is to try it using animation itself, most of the default animation sheets are composed of only few rows around 2-4 only so you could add more since the maximum allowed by the engine per animation sheet is 20 rows... I won't suggest common event since common events run by skill are run after skill usage...

But won't the animation be at lower opacity than the normal image?

NOPE... It looks like it because of the blend mode used by default, which you can change PER IMAGE PER FRAME by double clicking the image inside the frame... Spend some time tinkering with animations and you'll see. :)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
