So, I'm planning on featuring voice acting on my game but since there are tons of sounds it'd be convenient to have them in a subfolder (let's call it "VO") inside the default "Audio/SE".

The problem is when I try to point to that folder. I tried lots of commands but none seems to work. It always redirects me to the SE root folder.

Example of what I want:

AudioManager.playSe({name: "VO/hey", volume: 70, pitch: 100, pan: 0 });

this above does not work!

I hope I was clear enough, thanks!

Because AudioManager.playSe uses the se folder.

If you want another folder, you're going to have to create duplicate functions to all the SE functions in AudioManager and tell it to use the path you want, and then you call your new function instead of playSe.

The audio player is (I think) unable to look for sounds in sub-folders. Maybe give each of your dialogs a code as filename?

Thank you! I went for this solution and works perfectly! Now I can even add the volume control to the option menu :D!

You can close this :)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
