So right now I have mining and fishing events and while I like how they've come along, I'm wondering if there's a way I can let the player cancel out of the event if they want to stop. This is what I have right now.

Code:
Player swings pickaxe
Loop
  Wait: 60 frames
  Player swings pickaxe
  Variable Chance = 1-3
  Conditional Branch: Chance == 3
    Break Loop
Repeat Above
Show Balloon Icon: Player, Exclamation
Play SE: 'Hammer'
Text: "You obtained x ore!"
Change Items: [Ore] + 1

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
