Player damage while moving

I've a little problem I'd like to get some help with.


Is it possible to take damage from an enemy by player touch or event touch when already in motion by another event?


It's hard to explain but I'll try.


The player steps on an event which makes the player move 5 squares on the map. on this map, there's also spikey enemies that moves around.


And it's up to the player to time when you walk on this event to avoid the spikey enemies.


BUT if you happen to touch an enemy while in motion from this event, the player will take damage.. any way to make the enemy event running while the last one is still running?


Hope you understand my question? Anyone?

Alright.

Are you using a slippery ice script to slide or just events?


Im using events for gliding since I don't think the scripts makes it my way how to glide.


Any solution for me doing it with events? ?

Not sure how much lag it might cause, but could the enemies be running on a parallel process?

Try setting the move route to not wait, and make the enemies event touch.

I guess I'd die without even having to hit them if I set it on parallell process..?


Spam me with solutions and I'll try everything tomorrow. (11.30pm here now)

The enemies are set to event touch. What do you mean by remove wait? I don't remember putting them to wait in the first place.


I do get killed by the enemies if i stand infront of it when it moves towards me but not when I'm in the middle of moving from another set move route event.

If i don't set the move route on the player to wait i will be able to move in the middle of a glide and that will break the puzzle..

Ahhh, sorry, I wasn't thinking right - you can't have player touch and parallel process. :p
