Hey, everyone! I have a problem I can't seem to fix, so I was hoping someone here might have an idea.
Sometimes on rare occations, my player moves faster after a cutscene. When this speed-change happens, the player moves with the same speed it would have if dash was toggled on when it's toggled off.

I haven't had the biggest problem with this, as triggering another cutscene seems to make it return to normal, and this has only occured in small gaps of gameplay in between some cutscenes, but it's still frustrating.

Sorry if I have explained things poorly.
Thanks.

Are you using any scripts? Or plugins? Or are you using Set Movement Route?

Check the Set Movement Route because you can change an events/player speed with Set Movement Route.
And if possible, be sure to share a screenshot of the event that is changing the speed.

Another thought is, if you hold the space bar the game will move faster. Try holding space during messages or cut scenes.

Oh, I found it, it was the Set Movement Route! I didn't realize it affected the player outside of the cutscene as well! Thank you so much!
Also, thank you for the tip about the spacebar, it will come in handy ^^

Yep. When you set the player speed on movement routes, the change is permanent unless you change it back.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
