Alright, I am starting to get pissed off and I need help. How am I suppose to make my player transparent at the very beginning scene with a cutscene thanking the player for playing? I keep reading, "Go to system to make them transparent". I'm using XP and it doesn't have that option for me. What should I do. Also, how do I start my events? I set them and they don't active. HELP

RMXP does not have that option in the System tab, true.
What you have to do is:
a) set a "Parallel Process" triggered event in your starting map;
b) enter the Event Command "Set Transparency Flag: Transparent" (located on the 2nd event command tab).
c) below that, enter the Event Command "Control Self Switch: A, ON".
d) now, select the command "New Event Page" at the top of the event page. In the "conditions" on the left side of this 2nd page, enable "Self Switch A is ON".

Note: usually, we'll use "Autorun" triggered event for processes meant to run from the very beginning, but "Parallel Process" initiates faster in conditions like this one where you would want the player to turn transparent before the map is loaded. Hope that helps.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
time for a new avatar :)
