Yeah this is why I suggest using something like imgur

Which is a fine idea until the imgur links break and it's mass pandemonium on the forms
Of course if it's just a profile post and not a thread with ace (as in quality, not as in the engine) resources that people will want to access for the next millennium then it's probably fine just using external image hosts for your "look at my retro game find!" status post.

I was assuming it was about making an album in Imgur with a description on each image and then linking it to the profile post. So it is not a direct link to the image but to the album.
