Please Continue my Work!

Hello and welcome to my first thread ever in these forums!          
 
A long time ago i acquired RPG Maker Vx Ace. I have fooled around with it for a while but never really made a real project. However i did create one that i put quite a lot of work into as it was my first every serious game. I have 80% of the world created and a lot of npc's to interact with. The overall game is pretty small and consists of 2 towns (start town and castle town). Nowadays i don't have the time to put effort and i am fairly still unskilled in creating any content of value in the program. so i would like one of you to continue this game for me! You can change what every you want as some things aren't done such as: properly balanced stats and monsters, items that are existing and balanced and some others. Even if you don't decide to continue to work on my project it would mean a lot to me if some of you at least looked at the file.
 
The basic story is that you are a poor thief in a poor village you you attempt to travel to the castle town to get a loan of money to support you and your son. The king will give you the money if you get a flower to heal his daughter but the magic flower is guarded by a demon lord. (haven't made anything after that)

To summarize so you don't have to read that wall of text: half completed a game, cant continue but think it has some potential, asking you nice people to try and pick up where i left off

Well, your game has lacks of tutorial. You didn't have a cutscene at the first time i loaded the game, so basically. I just talk to the kid, and went on robbing cabbages, and what seems unfair to me is, why does the main characther start with 9999 HP and 9999 MP? You should tell us what is your game's genre and then expect us to help.

I haven't checked the game proper, but why would I? If I wanted to finish a game, I'd create my own. What's the appeal? Are many resources done already? No screenshots or similar don't exactly bring me any confidence to that.

Jeez guys, no need to attack the guy.  If you don't want to make the game just don't.

@fun4seb They do have a point though, unless you're providing resources or something to make the game more affordable to work on no one would want to take it on.  Everyone thinks their ideas are the best and the only reason to work on someone else's is if they're less of a burden than making your own.

I'd be happy to do it. In all seriousness as well. I think I could evolve idea into a plot I used to DM with and I've been meaning to make a complete game on this anyway.

Sorry for the lack of reply i forgot to check on the post. I suppose ill answer a few questions. First of all the character has those ridiculous stats cause at one point i was testing out a battle and game him some OP gear just to get through it. During when i started the game it was one of my first creations with a program so i didn't have alot of technical knowledge with the application and didn't know how to create a cut scene, i always said "ill get around to it". I don't know why everyone so mad, like i get that the game in its current state sucks but come on, give me a break. I only started it for fun and couldn't get around to finishing it but i still hope it can hold some potential in the great imaginations of you guys

Hope this cleared up some things and mellowed out some peoples anger but i really don't mean to start a fire so have fun and do whatever you want!

Wow! That is such a great improvement, the sound effects and different colored texts were very well done! it looks way more professional now
