Sorry if this is the wrong forum, please move if necessary.

So, I use Yanfly's core engine plugin to have the game run at a specific resolution. I also have Yanfly's Main Menu manager installed. What I want to do is make it so the player can change the resolution the game runs at using plugin calls. How can I achieve this?

THIS plugin can add it to the options menu AND lets you use a plugin command!

Okay, this is a better idea to what I already have, I love it!

But, what if I want to allow the player to change the game's resolution using YanFly's core engine plugin?

I'm looking for this too.  Digging around I read that Yanfly's won't work without restarting the game because it only sets the resolution when the engine initializes.  I can't remember which thread that was in - I've read so many today.  :dizzy:

RMMV looks so nice at fullscreen with native resolution, but I tried moving the game window from my second monitor (1600x900) to my laptop monitor (1440x900), and the menu screen goes past the right edge.  If you hit F3, the game screen will scale to fit the window, adding letterboxes/pillarboxes as needed.  But then it squishes the graphics below native resolution which isn't ideal.  It's one thing to set it for my screen so it looks nice, but my players could be using any sort of screen.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
