Lately, I've downloaded a plugin that's supposed to fix the audio lag in RPG Maker MV. It worked! My game runs smoothly and there are no real issues with it, however the options menu is absolutely broken, even if the options don't involve audio at all. For example, "always dash". Before posting this thread I also checked going to the options menu with arrows + enter instead of clicking and, turns out, even trying to move the cursot to the options menu with arrows causes an error. I've disabled the plugin countless times, but when I press F8 it always somehow connects with the plugin. When I remove the plugin from the plugin manager and delete it from the "plugins" folder, I get an error stating RPG Maker has failed to load the plugin. I'm kinda scattered. The project isn't at all in the advanced stage so guess I could just copy paste everything into a new one, but I'll only do it if there is no other option. I attached the screens of the errors, as well as a screen of the error displayed when I delete the plugin. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. If nothing can be done, I need to know it as fast as possible. Thanks!

Most plugins save some of their data into the savefiles. That is absolutely neccessary because they can't store their own data without that, but it means that each change in the plugin manager can make older savefiles incompatible.
whenever you change (that means add or remove, activate or deactivate) a plugin in the plugin manager, you have to start a new game in the next playtes. Loading an older savefile will load part of the disabled plugin and cause errors.

I do. The options menu is screwed up in the main menu, not just in-game.

I love this job (as a programmer), coding is fun sometimes. It is just the deadline that needs to CHILL.
Best explanation of "Confirmation Bias": "If you go looking for a fight, you will always find one". If you always look for something, you'll find it. Negativity or Positivity. This is just a reminder to spend time looking for some Positivity today. :D Ya'll have earned it and deserve it.
And now all my attacking skills suddenly heal instead of doing damage...Even kills and revives. Because ofc they do xD
Spend more time building up what you like, and stop tearing down things you don't. If you only tear stuff down, nobody will get to enjoy anything.
