The title says it all but I'll explain it again. I'm using RPG Maker MV, and the thing is I downloaded plugins from Yanfly plugins and others as well but when I placed them in the folder and opened the project, they were gone.

I checked again and the plugins were in the js folder of my project as they were supposed to be, but it's not showing up on my plugin manager.

Help me please

what is the folder?
there are only very few possibilities here, all depend on the name of the full filepath.

1) you mixed up the folders of a project and a project copy
2) any folder leading to that folder has letters that are not legal under networking rules, because browsers and javascript require the foldernames to follow networking rules
3) you forgot to add the plugins inside the plugin manager, they don't appear there alone from copying them into the correct folder

If you have some experience with plugins and MV then the bet would be 2, and to check that we need the entire folderpath from drive letter to project, like c:\folder1\folder2\folder3\projectname\js\plugin.js

Yea the folderpath you stated is exactly how I did it.
And just before posting this thread I tried to check what was wrong and created a new project, coping the plugins to their places and stuff but it still didn't work

4) Do the plugins present by default in a new project (e.g. MadeWithMv) show up in the Plugin Manager?

If the path is "exactly" as Andar stated, then note that your plugins should go into your project's /js/plugins folder, not just /js.

Yanfly has a video explaining how to install plugins here: http://yanfly.moe/2015/10/09/rpg-maker-mv-installing-plugins/

I didn't state your path, I gave you an example.
Please write down YOUR filepath and post it here for us to check if it contains any letters or symbols that could cause this problem.

there is nothing to try out unless you know of which letters I'm talking - and that is unlikely or you would not have to try.
you need to copy&paste your foldernames here if you don't know how a path needs to be to conform to networking rules.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
