I'm also playing Pokémon Moon, but it will take time to complete the Pokedex I think.

Pokémon Sun and Moon were the easiest two games to "complete the Pokedex" in. Everything levels up so ridiculously fast, evolution stones are so ridiculously easy to obtain, and only needing the ability to trade... I think in less than 80 hours total game time I had the Dex complete in Sun and in less than 40, I had it all in Moon (who is still only at the first island).

The only truly difficult stuff is the incredibly tiny "drop rate" of evolution items. There's a Pokémon that shows up at a 5% rate (so the guides say... it's more like 1%). It has a 5% chance to have a specific evolution item you need. That's roughly a 0.025% chance of ever seeing that item in your game. Only two items like that.

They really are much easier than even the original Red/Blue. With the use of the internet, or even Pokémon Bank... doesn't take much time at all to complete them.

This is coming from someone who gets a Pokémon to learn their last move before hitting them with an evolution stone, just so that they could be "battle ready", should I decide to use them. Which means, several mons up to level 68 before even evolution stoning them.

Roughly 80 hours to complete the dex in Sun/Moon, provided you have a trading partner and don't mind grinding for a couple items you need.
