You know, one thing I love about Black/White is that there are no Zubats, no Geodudes, no Tentacools, no Magikarps...you know, those 1st Gen Pokémon that seem to make their way into EVERY game and are ALWAYS common, and all have something annoying about them?

Zubat = Supersonic, later Confuse Ray

Geodude = Selfdestruct, later Explosion

Tentacool = Confuse ray, right?

Magikarp = Can show up like, almost anywhere you can fish, right?

I don't know if Black 2/White 2 allowed themselves to be infiltrated by those four, but...I hope not.

Anyway, to celebrate watching Jurassic Park 3D today, I thought I'd finally get the fossil Pokémon I chose in Black! Archen! The little archeopteryx with those crazy stats but that horrible ability! It's not a dinosaur, but it's relevant. I love how fast they revive the fossils. The lady just walks back into another room with the fossil for like, 2 seconds, and comes back with a fully alive level 25 Pokémon! Since I gave it a Lucky Egg (LOVE how you just get that, not just some random Chansey hold item or something...) it's almost evolved already!

Yep they got replaced by a furry bat that's not as common but kind of non-threatening, an annoying Sturdy abusing boulder that explodes, another jellyfish which if you hit it, your moves are disabled, and a grumpy fish who will kick your ass.

Why mix the annoying Pokémon with their less annoying replacements!? Agh...

Also, since I was talking about dinosaurs...well, I didn't think of it until yesterday, I hope there's new fossil Pokémon in X and Y! I mean, c'mon, with the apparent DNA (sub)theme, it's perfect!

I'm hoping for a T-Rex Pokémon (Tyranitar does not count, at all), a Raptor Pokémon (hey, even if I didn't watch Jurassic Park recently I'd still be thinking that!), or maybe even a Stegosaurus Pokémon!

There's always new fossils in every generation since there's only two per generation (bar 1, which had 3). What I like what Game Freak did is that just because  they're fossils, they didn't make them all dinosaurs. In fact the only fossil Pokemon we have that are dinosaurs are the Shieldon and Crandidos family~

I wonder what typing we'll get this time round... We've had Water, Grass, Flying, Steel and Bug. So... how about an Dark, Psychic or Dragon type?

Some kind of caveman fossil Pokémon would be sweet. It could be rock and fighting, or rock and ice, maybe?

Speaking of which I would generally love to see the next fossil pokemon based on prehistoric mammals, like a sabertoothed cat (Raikou doesn't count) or a megacerops.

Yes, there are still a lot of possibilities for a new fossil pokemon. Personally, I want a fossil pokemon that is dragon type, cause that just makes sense at least. And I just like dragon types

I wonder why the fossil Pokémon are all Rock types though...Is it because they were revived from fossils? Or are they just that rocky?

The fossil thing doesn't work because of Aerodactyl, it being brought back from Old Amber.

Still, since I'm still in a Jurassic Park-y mood, there should be a Velociraptor Pokémon that's Rock / Psychic (because those Raptors are so clever), and a Dilophosaurus Pokémon that's Rock / Poison (toxic spit, lol). And...make them female 87.5% of the time, instead of 12.5%... (seriously, what is UP with that anyway?)

If we don't get dinosaurs, I'd like some kind of prehistoric early amphibian, like an Ichyostega, or a Tiktaalik. Or how about it starts as a fish, then evolves into an amphibian, then, into a mammal/reptile thing. It would start as Water or part Water, then when fully evolved, it's no longer Water! (kinda like Surskit!)

Maybe, it's fish - amphibian - ????, like the 3rd form you get to choose, not like Poliwhirl for example, with 2 evolutions, like Eevee (but less than Eevee) Maybe you could choose to evolve it into a mammal, bird, or reptile for it's final stage. I think that would be awesome...

If they gave it the Rock type just 'cause...then.

Fish - Rock / Water

Amphibian - Rock / Water (or maybe Ground?)

Mammal - Rock / Normal (?)

Bird - Rock / Flying

Reptile - Rock / something

Just an idea. (totally not inspired by E.V.O. Search for Eden...)

Those two Pokemon are mostly made for their novelty value, anyway (unown being letters connected to some ancient riddle in-game, and Farfetch'd being a joke based on a japanese saying that essentially says that if it looks too good to be true, it's probably not worth it).

They don't need evolutions because they aren't even made to be competitive.
