That brings me to a question... How many main characters actually have both parents? By main, I mean anyone with importance to the story of the game they are in. So rivals and significant characters do count.

I know your character from ruby/sapphire/emerald has his/her mother at home, and his/her father is Norman. Bianca from Black/White argues with her father in a cutscene, while you can talk to her mother I believe in that same house. I can't think of many more though. There are an extreme lack of reliable, good fathers in the world of pokemon. I wonder if the creators had daddy issues...

On another note...

I don't think Lt. Surge is tall, so much that everyone else is short. He's an American, and the rest are Japanese. :p

Thats funny.

However, the image made me wonder, so I tried doing some research. According to serebii, Raichu is 2'07" tall (2ft, 7in).

Here is my reference... http://serebii.net/pokedex-bw/026.shtml

So, according to that logic, I made a chart. As long as my math is correct, then this should be somewhat accurate. Mind you, I say somewhat cause I did not take into consideration characters that are closer to or further away from the camera, which would alter height a bit.

So, Lt. Surge is about 10 feet tall? LOL

Still, I don't think that woman is really 7 feet tall (I don't recognize her, who is she!?)

I think you can't take the Pokémon's appearance in the Anime too literally, it takes a lot of liberties with that kind of thing.

Also about the daddy issues thing. That's a recurring theme in like, everything. Really makes you wonder. If the father is alive, he's usually evil...

Main villain: "*insert male protagonist's name here*, I am your father!"

Oh trust me, I am not taking their size too literally. But I did find it interesting that in that picture they seem so tall.

EDIT: However, looking at it again, everyone on the right side of the picture seem about the right size, lol. The left side people apparently took too many growth hormones.

Well funny enough, the Pokemon sizes in anime and the game tend to be completely different to each other.

Most certainly. In fact, I never really found many anime pokemon to be the right size at all. That is why my image is just a funny observation and not fact in any way. I won't claim it to be the true height measure cause I know it isn't true. But I did find it funny that compared to the games' raichu, Surge is suddenly enormous.

My sister pretty much GAVE me her copy of Pokemon Emerald. 3rd gen Pokemon games are my favorite so getting this made me ecstatic. But, upon playing her file for fun I discovered that not only does she have a level 82 Blaziken and 3 level 50 eeveelutions, but she also has a level 70-something Moltres, a level 80-something Suicune, I think a Rayquaza too (can't remember it's level), and a horde of other awesome Pokemon. I can't start a new game without having to erase all of THAT. What do I do...? :/

I tend to trade them all to a different Pokemon game, then I trade them back. This tends to be easy since my brother and I tend to get the counterparts of Pokemon games when they come out, so this will only work with another 3rd gen game.

Nope, I don't have another 3rd gen game. If I did my sister wouldn't have given me Emerald. So I can't do that... le sigh... >.>

Do you have any 4th gen games? You can migrate them all to that game? But you should check their natures as well. Suicune may be awesome but if it has an Adamant or Brave nature it's sucking big time xD

Well, I don't think there's any way around it. I can continue playing my sister's file (though she's already beaten the game) or I can start a new game and instantly regret it...

Well if you do have a 4th gen, I would suggest you transfer before starting over so you won't feel as bad.

Otherwise that is the only way. (BTW I miss that Mudkip... ah, regrets...) R.I.P. Mudkip, lost in the Ram of a Pokemon sapphire cartridge, never found his way back home.

Don't just erase the file full of awesome Pokémon...If you don't have any other 3rd gen games, well, they are all available for like, under $20 used, if you don't mind spending some money to keep all those Pokémon. Maybe you could train some of those same Pokémon yourself, but it's very time-consuming. Also, Moltres and Suicune aren't available in Emerald normally, are they? So, spend a little money, to save a lot of time? I dunno. Of course if you bought say, a used copy of Emerald, you could just...play that instead? I dunno, it just seems like a waste to erase all those Pokémon.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
