Might finally buy a Switch.

I got out of Pokemon Go, was fun for awhile.
But please... bring us a traditional Pokemon game to the switch, like a remake of Yellow! (would also love if the dub names were scrapped!)

I can't say I'm too surprised with how hard Gen 7's games were constantly bringing up Kanto and Gen 1.

My only concern is that Eevee won't be able to evolve since there's no way Pikachu is going to be allowed too - and that's like missing the point of Eevee completely.

I like the change from the random encounters, I always thought those were pretty dumb.

I like that the pokeball accessory lets you kill your pokemon if you break it after transferring a pokemon.

I think it's really f#$king dumb how eevee can't evolve, that's like making a mario game where you can't jump.

I like how you can have a pokemon fallow you again.

Most of these changes probably aren't here to stay since this is confirmed to not be the next big pokemon that they talked about at E3, they said that one's comin' in 2019.

I may give it a shot, but I see it as a tainted remake of yellow which dissapoints me.

I do th9nk Eevee’s will be able to evolve, just not the one you start out with, thought to balance that they may give it a special ability.

Thinking about it, Let's Go will probably ironically include more of what I want from a Pokemon game than a figurative Gen 8 would provide.

What I expect from Let's Go:
-Less focus on story with a lot fewer cutscenes.
-A more open-less linear world.
-More laid back atmosphere that doesn't involve evil villain using Mcguffin Token Legendary Pokemon to destroy the world.

Meanwhile, what I fear from Pokemon 2019 based on what I've played in Sun and Moon:
-Hours and hours of cutscenes involving another pretentious, yet generic plot that can be summed up in a paragraph.
-Random encounters, but little to no dungeons anyways.
-Probably made the EXP share mandatory at this point because they are afraid kids playing the game will accidentally turn it off and complain the game is too hard. (sarcasm, hopefully)

Granted, I still would prefer a new region and proper wild encounters. But I'm personally interested in Let's Go, and I'm not even a fan of Pokemon Go.

Honestly the game doesn't look all that bad but I will most likely wait for review before I buy it.

I hope gen 8 will be called Pokémon World. Base game should be in a new region and every 8 months or so they should release a previous region as DLC. Level cap each region (gen 8 lvl 50, dlc1 region lvl 55 etc). Then they also need to add end game content like the Elite 4 for each region. Bring back gyms and no more random encounters. They need to make all pokemon obtainable in 1 game as this does not need to be right away but each DLC region will include all pokemon from its gen.

If only dreams were real...
