Poll: Making a Card Game?

I've been playing a little too much of a digital card game made by Blizzard lately, and it occurred to me that there may be some demand for graphics to enable RM users to make their own card game (graphics for card backs and fronts with various themes and levels). These empty card graphics could then be used to build cards (add images at the top and text at the bottom). Bring those into RPG Maker (perhaps with some help from plug-ins) and BAM, you're own digital card game!

So the question is...is anyone interested in graphic resources to make their own card game?

I've been making battlers for a long time, but thought this could be a fun jaunt into a new area. I envision card sets by theme with varying levels of awesome (common, rare, epic, legendary). For example a jungle themed card back with jungle themed card faces in 4 levels, from plain to elaborate. What do you think?

I personally would not make a card game. But man, card resources will be always welcomed. Maybe, I can use it for a tarot card summon animation like

I voted yes. There are many ways that card resources could be utilized in a project. I think this would be a valuable resource for the community. Chances are, I'd look for an innovative way to incorporate them into a game sooner or later.

I love things such as Magic The Gathering, YUGIOH, Pokemon TCG, and all other card games. I didn't know Blizzard made one, do you know the name of it?

Go for it! I actually toyed with the idea of eventing a card game as a mini-game for my game at one point in time.

RPG Maker is a poor platform to create CCG games on. However, there's a much better argument for making "games within games" on RPG Maker, a la Final Fantasy's Triple Triad and such. Programming/eventing it would still be the main challenge, but graphical resources would be great to have, because so many of the resources that could be found on the web are of questionable legality to use in a commercial game.

Fun Fact: Some AutoCorrects change the word 'Hearthstone' to 'Cholesterol'!!

While I would be more interested in the resources for a Tarot-deck (or something at least conceptually similar) in-game, perhaps something similar to what Ogre Battle did, I suppose the resources would be largely similar. Card backs, at least, could be a useful asset in any case.

I have only just noticed where this is.
Making resources is not a mechanic. 'Game Mechancis Design' is for looking at aspects of gameplay at a more conceptual level. It is not about the resources we might use to make that aspect.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
