Hello (again) everyone!
I need help with project I've started sometime ago. As I'm not happy with results of my work (maps looks ugly, and my English is still rather raw) I've stareted over again today morning. Of course I use some of my earier done works, so it's not all blind run. But, going to the point:

Engine I use: RPG MAKER MV

Synopsis: Story follow brave (?) hero Sabadios in fantasy realm (my own creation, as I've generally creat it as cyberpunk, for use of the game it's medieval fantasy set [planing more games in future, with cyberpunk version as well]) populated by various race, form human-kind Katio (which race is saparated between Ka-aru [typical human race] and Ka-inu [elder human-like race living in realm long befor Ka-aru and having some phisical differences from them]), by horned elf-like race Sahrimetio (-tio on end mean "intelligent" and determinates all thinking race), ork-kind Mabruchitio (you know, 2,5 meter hight over 200 kg weight, horned as well, but with bigger, massive horns not like Sahrimetio's one), Kakottotio, harp-like (?) race (with two pair of wings one on back, and one on waist, not really feathered body of them), 150 cm of mole (unhaired one with pale, almost transparented skin, small, black eyes, long claws) Hartio (also known [in it's own language] as Zhutuu), underwater civilization of Ammaetio (also used as pets by Katio), hippi-kind Csrghetio (they live in communes, have an ability to linking it's minds), to terrify Arudentio (Arude-al-den, born in darkness, and aruden also mean "not born") with sharp fangs (two rows) and claws, dark skin, and eating inteligent race meat. Sabadios wake up from strange, mysterious dream in which he can see young woman calling him darling, and small girl calling him dad. Moment later he is attacked by group of Arudentio, after taking hit in the head he loosing consciousness, and after next few secound he wake up in small cave full of bones. Befor he ended as Arudentio's meal, young Sahrimetio woman rescue him from this band. She introduce herself as Strela, and claimed Sabadios to be her brother, even if he is Katio. Sadly, Sabadios can't remember thing from before attack. He don't know why, but she joining him in his travel, claiming that she can't leave him all alone after shock he takes. Sabadios can't oppose as he surelly need help with finding himself in the road to town Nhyl. Why is he heading there? He don't know, but with a little help he will find out (?). In Nhyl, he find that people have a problem with local bandits, as Mayor of town asking our heroes for help, they going to the bandits hideout in the forest near Nhyl. After defeating bandits (or get ride of them in over way) Sabadios and Strela return to Nhyl. Mayor is all hapy now, and offer them small reward for good done job. But. Will Sabadios and Strela find out truth hidding behind Mayor's smile? The mystery is hiding behind hiden doors, but where's the key? Will you find out this secret, or will you leave town happy and content? You know, bandits problem cause only more problems, and townpeople will ask you help for sure. Be ready, because it's only very begin of your journey. For more answers you have to go to Agara's capital, Cyria, and then going even futher, to over countinents maybe? Be ready, because, you'll meet more characters of various race, and not everyone will be your friend. Be rady, because you'll meet yourself divided with more then one option to choose from in difficult situations you'll end in, and being noble, and good for people, not everytime seems profitable. Sometimes, you'll pay high price for you "noble and good" decisions, also being bad person will have it's consequences. Nothing is black and white.

Roles needed:
1. First of all, I need someone to correct my bad English, and maybe expand some of my textes with words (and gramma) which I don't know.
2. Also, I very much need someone to help with maps, to just mak them looks good (As I trying anew maps looks not half bad [but also not half good], but what I've seen in over games is much better then my work, so I'm in depression).
3. Could be usefull someone who can draw nicely, as I can only draw straight line (ok, not so straight, but I'm trying)
4. All help you can spare

My role:
1. I will write the story
2. I will make some maps (to correct)
3. I will creat events (maybe some help with variables will be needed)
4. I will try to do many over things, which I don't know how to post separated

Uh, Tetsuya, your posts in here aren't doing the best job at showing off your English abilities. I appreciate that you're enthusiastic about helping, but maybe this isn't the right task for you. Aniknk wouldn't know enough to be able to tell if your fixes are good or bad, but his target audience would.

I can't imagine how difficult it must be to learn English as a second language. I envy those who are able to learn two languages, even if they aren't perfect.

Sharm brings up a good point. How would Aniknk know someone else's abilities are sufficient or not? He may require some form of proven copy-editor or something. Furthermore, depending on the scope of Aniknk's project and the amount of text/dialogue involved, it may require more than mere language corrections. There's being grammatically correct, and then there is writing well (avoiding cliché, avoiding double-meanings, slang and localized terminology, et cetera). It's not really a "sure I'll help you out, send a PM" sorta thing.

I have too much experience in this area: I'm a traditionally published fantasy novelist with a college education in English and creative writing. Still, I question if even I'd be sufficient for the task. I do know enough to know the process of what real corrections entail and what can go wrong. It's a lot. Being able to natively speak/read/write English is only the beginning. Furthermore, how would Aniknk quality-control the corrections? I could prove I'm a novelist, but so what? That wouldn't necessarily mean I was doing a good job for someone else, would it?

My advice: work on your game and do your best English. See how serious your game becomes. It sounds like it may become great, so it may require great editing. In which case you may require a professional or someone with a professional background. I understand the purpose of this forum is to recruit help from within the community, but you need a way to ensure that help is viable. Perhaps, if nothing else, several members of the community can cross-check each other's English and their ability to edit a sample section of your work. That way you'd at least ensure whomever you choose is truly adequate from the point of view of many native English speakers.

In anycase, I'm impressed you're taking on a challenge like the creation of a game in non-native language. You can only grow as a person because of it.

English is actually my 3rd language. Second is German, but I haven't any occasion to speak in German from years now, so it may be a little rusty.

I love German. In fact, "geist" is in my name as you can see. Although I'm American, my ancestors are all Polish and German. In fact, there's even a castle in Poland with my surname "Poling." And yet, I was never able to learn another language. Instead, I just focused on mastering English as much as I could.

Why "?"? If you can write story, I need quests (with story) Ideas. I'll welcome dark themes, as well as funny one (need to get some relax after dark one). I myself will write few (hundreds), but always need more. When it comes to languages, English as a second language is not the hardest of the bunch. I would argue learning a language that is not pushed by most popular entertainment, films and games would be even harder. Still any second language is very difficult to be learned.
