Well, I thought about it and searched, and there seemed to be a lot of people asking about "Earthbound Backgrounds"

Yet, through these, I don't think I noticed a single person ask for a port of a script that allows them to do that.

So rather than request some a entirely new script relating to that, I'm going to request a port of this specific script:

And I am requesting it for while there are scripts that do a similar job, this script meanwhile handles it exactly like Earthbound, with it being a single image that's being animated by the game itself.

Typically, earthbound /mother backgrounds were psychedelic abstract patterns, instead of images or maps. They were also animated- pulsating, wavering back and forth, scrolling, emitting waves, that sort of thing. The linked plugin also specifies them being specific to the group of enemies you're fighting- I know in Mother 3, different enemy groups also had different music, so worst case you could use an event page to manually set the background and music for the given troop (assuming you have a plugin that allows that).

@Wookiee420 Thanks, but again, the reason I specifically posted for this one is because those aren't handled by the game itself, but rather through frames of animations.
Also, that plugin is for MV, not a script for RPG Maker VX Ace.

@Doktor_Q While I don't plan on doing that, it is completely possible to do it through clever use of Hime's random encounter events.
Or even through field events calling the random encounter if you go that route.
I just figured I'd request a port due to it being a small script.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
