I've been fiddling around with Box2D, a simple physics engine that was used to make Angry Birds, in Game Maker Studio, it's fun! Since there's a javascript version I was wondering if it could be integrated with MV? Obviously it would be (presumably) ridiculous to try and get it to do anything in normal RPG gameplay, but I was thinking it could make for some awesome minigames where the tile system is disabled and we just use variables, switches and physics to control everything. Could also be used for action battles perhaps. Any thoughts?

I do not see why it cannot.

It is more of a matter if someone will, then if it is possible.

To answer the question is impossible right now, the engine isn't out in the open, we don't have an API in front of us to look at.

But we know there are no hidden classes or functions in the language, BUT that doesn't mean there aren't restrictions...

If you can call it in JS then it will probably be usable as long as you know how to... There might be restrictions but we really know nothing at this point about the engine itself so...

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
