is it possible to make a game like restaurant story, bakery story ect? You know like buy certain ingredients have customers walk in and out giving you money and have special items that be earned with events to speed up the cooking process.

Most definitely can you use RPG Maker for something like this. It requires creative thinking and problem solving, and you should know how to event very well (scripting isn't needed), possibly learning how to event your own menu for choosing ingredients etc.

First, get good at eventing. Then, you translate your game features into simple to understand event mechanics. Instead of "The chef buys ingredients to cook a meal for a customer," it becomes "Player can buy items to synthesize them into another item, which can be given to an NPC." If you start thinking like that, you can work it out through events.

A bust of my character, Lizzabelle, that I put together in GIMP. I combined the RMMZ generated face with my actual illustration of her. This is just me experimenting with busts. I don't really want to use busts in dialogue, but perhaps in the character menu.
