possible to make battles look like they do in RMXP ??

hi, I'd like to make my battles have the same format as the default ones in rpg maker XP, where the enemy is a large sprite on the top of the screen and then the bottom of the screen has your character graphics next to their hp mp etc. like this. would it also be possible to make the character battlers animated instead of the static image?

It's entirely possible, but would require custom JavaScript plugins. Over 200 plugins exist for MV at the moment, but none of them (to my knowledge) fit all of the characteristics which you described.

This plugin adds actor faces to Window_BattleStatus, which is a portion of what you're asking for.

For animated battlers, Yanfly's Battle Engine Core (http://yanfly.moe/2015/10/10/yep-3-battle-engine-core/) has the option to display actor sprites, but they are sprites as opposed to animated portraits as shown in your example image.

I think I see what's you want lol 

this not only the fact it's also the animation on the actor battler who play when skill are used and also states who show on them.

it's little more tricky than people can think since it's need to write few new method for add logic's to the windows

the only problem with that is how sprite are handle by MV 

this totally not optimal and need some few tricky stuff to do or you gonna have HORRIBLE lag's

I have not tried out the MV version yet, but MogHunter has a battlescript that offers multiple Battle UI's, and have had it since RPG Maker XP. They recently released their MV version, and one of the styles they allow you to choose is very similar to the xp system. Even though the images still show the side-view battlers as well, that's not part of the script, as it's built into MV. So set the battles out of side view mode, install the plugin, and you should end up with a similar system. I don't know how compatible it may be with other battle scripts you may use, but it should contain all of what you need. Unfortunately I don't think the player battlers are animated, but it looks pretty good in conjunction with the side view battle system MV has. Also, by the looks of it, it looks like it forces you by default to have an ATB system, but I assume you can turn that off, but I don't know for sure. 

The thing is, they generally require a little bit of a set up, as in you'll have to ensure you have similar assest for your charecter battlers, but apart from that it should be more or less mostly plug and play as all of the images that the UI uses can just remain the same. Look inside the the Demo project file to see how to set it all up. The plugin page itself though is not in English, but Google Translate is more then enough to understand how to use it.

Hello! I would like to know if there are any pluggings or any way to customize how battles look?
I was thinking that when you start the battle for it to appear the eyes of your characters and opponents sorta like Ace Attorney.
Sadly I don't know how that would be possible so I would be needing help! If you can help me in any way I would really apreciate it!
