These two songs are based on the otome game Destiny Ninja 2, and are part of a fanfic I plan to write, with songs to go along. I made them and the story because I love the game but the company stopped working on it, and due to Apple's policies they couldn't let the app be available anymore.

I would highly appreciate any comments on these!

Are you Saeryensong from RMVXA forum (with Zuko avatar)? I like these, you are singing with a lot of fun :D

I've been contracted by a developer for a NWN inspired 3/4 top down RPG called, Ever-Summer Days.

I hope you like it. I wrote it last night, first five measures, woke up and he told me to slow down on production. Finished it 2 hours later.

I like it, it sounds versatile. I think it can be used as either a castle dungeon music or a castle music in a big town :D

DMC5 Special Edition seems to be hype right now, because it has playable Vergil.
His music is so badass, I decided to make an RPG remix to it. Hope you like it! :D

Hi, just wanted to start a thread to share some of my music ideas and hopefully get some opinions from others, maybe some who might hear my music in ways I can't.

This track is called "The Romancing March of A Crimson Tide", it is one of multiple tunes played in the transforming overworld. While it is already semi-dark feeling music, as the game progresses, the overworld tunes also get darker.

One band awakens within slumber to a spell cast upon the world, inside the vision of a nightmare land that is ruled by a judge of darkness known as The Deathwisher. There one awakens inside a bluelit abandoned house before a diminished wandering spirit beside the trapped vessel of a king who bares a sign of condemnation around his neck. They return and deliver the magic of special revelations that must be aligned into the soul to protect themself and the real world from being dispatched into its transformation of damnation. Now guardians of light, you are charged with freeing the lost souls of perdition from beyond even Hell itself, in the realm of Death.

Hello everyone, I'm posting a very rough version of my game's OST here for evaluation and how I could improve on composing tracks in the future. Criticism would we greatly appreciated.

The link is right here:

Well this isn't technically for an RPG Maker game, it's just a different version of a track I made for an RPG Maker game. It's minimal techno.

And this is my other most recent track. It's ambient.

Everyone was sharing their firsts in music, so I want to show my utterly embarrassing first song that I was somehow proud of when I was 18. It was made for my first game I ever made (in RPG Makers, and it was a loooong game, probably cringe)

I don't think I ever shared it here yet. Please don't laugh. I will cry. XD (this is the nonvocal version, the game had credits with vocals)

Here's a piece of Egyptian (or at least Hollywood Egyptian lol) battle music I wrote for a strategy game!

This sounds awesome bro! Did you do the whole soundtrack for this game?

Thank you! Yes, I've written nearly the whole soundtrack at this point. The game's coming out in early access this fall, and at that point, there are plans to expand the score even further :D

Hey guys!
It's been soooo long since I've been here. I don't know exactly when I last posted but it's been waaaay too long(I found it, it's been almost a year. Yikes). More great music here and it's been a pleasure to listen to. I've written a few comments just down below so you'll need to scroll down to your name and see what I've said about your song/songs! And if you scroll down further, you'll see my music and hopefully you'll give it a listen!

@MasterofRevels
Wrath of Pharaoh

I have to say, it's a really good song. I like how the drums really drives the song. The voices sounds great which really does give that Egyptian feel to it. The brass sounds good too to really give that epic feel that it would typically need for that kind of Hollywood Egyptian music haha. It's a great overall song. Great work!

@Rockenberg
Character battle 2

A nice fast paced battle like song! I quite enjoyed it. It's quite frantic and quite hype. I would be inclined to agree that it's goofy because of the synth! Good job!

@PixeLockeT
(The varcaroo recording you did)

Hey! So first off, let's address the elephant in the room. It sounds great. It has great progression, places where you allow the user to "rest" and synths to support your guitar. The drums has a nice beat and you have nice variations of it. You've even got a nice guitar solo around the 3:00 mark!
However, you need to be worried about a few things,
1. volume - You want your listeners to come into your song with a decent level so that their ears aren't blown out completely. I'm not saying loud is bad but you need to have a set volume. Most platforms has a LUFS(Loudness Units relative to Full Scale), for example YouTube has a standard of -14LUFS If someone was listening to a youtube video and then came to your song to listen to it, it would be totally different. The difference in loudness would be a deterrent. Making the listener uncomfortable. So be wary of it! (There's a lot more to this subject, go check it out! It's super interesting)

2. Balance for your song. Typically speaking, every song needs a beat and drums are super important but for songs like metal and rock, they tend to want their drums to be noticeable. Your drums are being overshadowed by your guitar because it's too loud and taking up a lot of the low end too. Let your drums breath! They want to be heard as well. Your hi hats are a little too loud but your drums aren't loud enough! Make some room for them. It would drive your song even more and it would be super awesome to listen to.

Other than that, great work, I'd like to see more of your work being posted it. Keep it up!

@robhr
Five year winter
It's a wonderful atmosphere building song. It has that synth constantly being played to give a sense of tension. In the background there is another to give it sense of vastness. The transition around the 2 minute mark is pretty cool.

Galaxy map Revisited
Another really cool one too. I like strings in the back ground. Giving it more progression to the song. The song feels pretty good in terms of making it seem mysterious and tense. I like the simple piano melody. It keeps the listener listening!

Great stuff!

@EpicFILE
Never gonna give you up

You absolute legend of a troll. This sounds too good for what it is. hahahaha. It sounds really good. I like the synth, it sounds pretty smooth. I would say though this song sounds a little compressed a little too much. (or it could be just the drums that are a little too compressed) So because of that, the drums doesn't feel like it's in the mix. Although, weirdly enough, the drums sounds a lot better around the 2minute mark making it more present in the mix. I would like to see this song with a good mix because it has potential to be even greater and more troll as you envisioned it to be hahaha

Bury the light
A good remix. It has a nice overall balance to the song and really enjoyable. It's pretty good. Not much to say other than it's well done.

Good work.

@chungsie
Summer days - spring time

You know, I like it, a nice opening, simple with a flute to introduce and some glockenspiel to give this royalty feel. A choir to make it intense. Strings to bring more harmony.
HOWEVER, your snare duuuuuude. COMON. Let it play louder my dude! It's a simple snare roll and a few hits here and there which is completely fine but I can barely hear it. It wants to be heard! Let it be known to your listeners that it's there!

I'm happy that a developer has contacted you. Congratz!

@SongQueenSaeryen
(for both of your songs)

Okay so first things first, I want to say that I'm not a professional singer by any means but I do know enough to know that your inhale is lacking! It can be definitely heard to certain parts of both of your songs. For example in the song exec_reflec=etealune_magatama, around the 01:08 mark you run out of breath. Look up some breathing exercises and breathing techniques for singing! It makes a huge difference because you can sing longer without losing your breath.
And don't push on your voice too hard! If you want a long lasting instrument, you take care of it and your voice is no exception. You do this in the same song around the 00:40 mark. There is a right way of pushing your voice and it's not when you have you tense your neck muscles or for that matter, all of your upper body. Singing is a relaxed state and you need to be relaxed as you do. (with the exception of screaming in metal which you're not trying to achieve!)

As well as this, try mixing your song a little bit! Give it a little reverb and let it be in the mix of your song! You don't want this separation of the song and your voice!
As well address the distortion! I'm sure that's an unwanted sound in your song.

Other than that, good work for doing this. Work hard on that fanfic and the music! Let's see what else you come up in the future!

So here's my music, I hope you guys will enjoy!

Hi! Thank you for the feedback!
You're right about the drum part of Never Gonna Give You Up remix.
It was my first attempt to make more orchestral sounding drums.
Usually I make a more "band-like" drums (like Bury The Light remix).

I felt that orchestral drums are mixed differently,
and I made a lot of adjustments to get the orchestral sound.
In the end it didn't come out as good as I wanted to. xD

Your music are cool!
The uplifting one is probably my favorite,
because it reminds me of FFXs Mount Gagazet. :D

I'm glad that I was able to give you some good feedback!

It's hard I know but you'll get the gang of it! Keep it up!

And thanks for the compliment. It means a lot to me. I have played the FF games but I honestly don't remember that song haha. It's been so many years since I last played them.
A lot of my songs are inspired by FF and many other games. So I'm glad that it has that feel to it! Makes me feel proud.

@SongQueenSaeryen
No problem! Just remember to take care of that voice!

Thank you! Really appreciate the feedback here and on my channel!

Also, nice pieces! "Insurance" sounds like it could be at home in an RPG, for those peaceful yet grand moments of looking out over a vast world.

Any time! I'm pretty bad when it comes to checking up on people and seeing how they are doing with their music but when I do, it's always a really awesome surprise to hear the differences and improvements. Although I do remember your music being pretty amazing to begin with when I wrote the first reply haha. Keep up the good work!

Thanks alot bud! I'm quite happy to hear that you really liked it and you were able to picture it in a game! It's a really good compliment that I will most certainly cherish.

Maybe someone would like to listen to the LV99: Final Fortress soundtrack while working on their own game? :)

I put out a new pack and I swear, I did not realize how it looks like the ones on the right are scared/nervous of the one on the left until way after o_O I just wanted to showcase some of them randomly xD
Well, if anyone has a funny, simple, easy RM game they want me to playtest/review, I would love it.
Someone close to me straight up told me they didn't think my relationship with my girlfriend would last. No lead up, very bluntly. Like it's obvious or something. Trying not to let it get to my head, but it's hard.
The distraction would be a life saver.

My first foray into a plugin that I plan to release. Working on something for those who want to set up a Dragon Quest style battle HUD with minimal fuss. Includes the ability to round the battleback corners to fit your windowskin and, of course, front-view animations.

Do you ever wonder where the heck everyone is going at 9:00 at night? Like... guys, go home! Get some sleep! Me? Oh, I'm out to get pizza 'cause I decided supper time was 9:30 tonight.
