The Forest Wilds - Really cool how you anchor that droned pad so close to the front of the mix. I really like that, especially with the ping pong in the pan on the other instruments. Really like that you've tried to go for a melody with the marimba, though I am coming away wondering what the melody is trying to anchor to both tonally and rhythmically. It seems to not have the same cohesion with the chord structure and pulse that the other instruments do.
The Haunted Factory - really cool percussive melody at :36, something about the pad that is playing behind it has a harmonic tone that seems to really jump out at times. Don't know if you've tried to do any EQ, but I would try to see if you can find what frequency that might be in that pad so you can cut it a little. 1:28...really cool.
Memorial Haven - Pad right out the gate could probably use a little EQ. Same for the pad at 1:13. I would check both those pads for any peak-y harmonics. I would also absolutely slap some delay on that piano so it has that echo-y ethereal feel I think you're going for.
Frozen Lament - I think the lows and mids overwhelm a little bit in the beginning, but the pad choices are really good here. See! The delay! It works! You can really use and abuse it in a lot of these songs. Overall, I think this has the strongest composition so far and I really like the flow and progression in this piece.
Chant of Alarm - Really like the little doodle-y notes in the beginning, feels very mysterious Though, I do think it takes maybe a bit too long to transition into the "B" section that starts at 1:20. I was also expecting almost some sort of low drone or base voice to come in since it's called a chant. To me, that really makes me imagine something that feels like singing, even if it's some sort of low pad or string section pulling on the notes of the moving notes.
Termite Mound - Love that low patch, aw yis....a little subby. Really makes it feel like you could fall down a hole. Again, I think you could use a little more delay on that moving bits. Would really amp up that cave feeling. Good growth in the B section, especially with the new notes introduced on the bass line. Really enjoy this one too.
